Zoo

On 19 Dec Chloe and I went to the Singapore Zoo together cause my mom could get us tickets for free!! :-)

We met up early in the morning and took a bus from the ang mo kio interchange to the zoo! It's been a really long time since we've both been there and to be honest I was kinda hyped HAHA

At the entrance!!

And so we set off

We saw the white tiger first! 

I've seen many white tigers in zoos, but i've never really seen a yellow/orange one before?? am i the only one?!

Next we headed to the australian outback section and saw some kangaroos!! There was like a tour guide bringing this group of people around and explaining everything, and we were just like secretly following and listening to the tour guide too ahahaha

This lion was super cute he was just sleeping with his tongue out!!

And a giraffe!! The giraffes had names but I forgot what's the name of this one

We made our way to the kids section of the zoo and there were goats!!

 I didn't know that goats actually really made those weird screaming noises and it's so weird hahaha i thought it was some little girl screaming but.... it was a goat

And there were these pony-looking animals called farabellas?? Like are they ponies or what hahah i have no idea they look like ponies to me

this one was just sticking its head out at us

 And then we went to the river safari and honestly it wasn't that great and I expected more... there were just fishes and turtles and pandas
and they were all in tanks and aquariums so it just feels like you're not really interacting with it haha i'm not sure how to explain this but it just feels different looking at a giraffe and looking at a fish LOL
but i guess it is RIVER safari so they have to have fishes and fishes have to be in tanks so they can't really help it

We went to the panda enclosure and there were these super cute red pandas!!!

They were all small and fluffy looking and there were 2 of them, chasing each other around

and when they got tired they just laid on the tree branch like that hahaha 

SO CUTE

 and here's Kai Kai!!!! he's super fat and he just keeps eating and eating nonstop

MY FREAKING LIFE HAHAHAHA

no pictures of Jia Jia because she never stays still and she keeps walking back and forth :-( she's much more shy than Kai Kai and she hides in her den sometimes and we won't be able to see her. she pretty much looks like a smaller version of Kai Kai sooooo hahahaha

next we went to the Amazon River Quest cause it was complimentary when we got the tickets! But the queue to get there was so long I got kind of tired and sian from queuing and expected the boat ride to be more interesting and worth the wait but.....

it wasn't that amazing cause we just floated past the animals and sometimes you can't see the animals cause they're hiding somewhere... and it was just like errrr okay hahahaha

not that great :-( but it was free so o well ahha

After that we left and went back to have dinner!! :-) I recommend going to the Zoo more than the River Safari just because the animals aren't in fish tanks and you're just like oh okay.

Had a pretty good time with Chloe nonetheless! But I wouldn't be going back anytime soon ahaha
